Video: Cyclists get into fight after Bouhanni is taken down in sprint
Following on from his win on the opening stage of the Tour du Poitou-Charentes, there was bad luck for French sprinter Nacer Bouhanni (Cofidis) as he was caught up in a massive crash inside the closing hundred metres of the second stage.
Bouhanni managed to pick himself up and walked over the line after a period, but some of the other fallers also looked badly injured. Immediately after the finish a number of riders from different teams clashed, with Bouhanni’s young brother Rayane – who also rides for Cofidis – in the thick of that action.
